Cicen, Treiber answer query Recruitment, money myths clarified by John Schreier A basic lack of "communication" was one of the direct causes of last Wednesday's incident concerning black and white students. Some kind of understanding Is needed In order to maintain the college's academic atmosphere as well as extinguish certain student fears which have created emotional hostility. We must take a realistic approach to this problem. In the meetings following the incident many students approached Mr. Cicen and Mr. Treiber with inquiries concerning financial aid and admissions policies toward black students. The KNIGHT, as part of its responsibility as a student publication, tried to clarify the policies of these two mutually important offices. Both Mr. Cicen and Mr. Treiber cooperated with the request and the results were quite interesting.
